Manito Park

Manito Park sits in the middle of the beautiful South Hill neighborhood of Spokane. Established in 1904, it has gone from undeveloped land, to picnicking spot, to zoo and now to world-renown gardens. It contains 5 distinct gardens: the Nishinomiya Tsutakawa Japanese Garden, Duncan Garden, Rose Hill, Lilac Garden and Ferris Perennial Garden. With any luck, while you're in town you might still get two see the gardens in their full fall color majesty.
